Partnered with the city on installation of new Pocket Park

Been designated as a PreservINg Main Street Community ($2M grant)

Become a stand-alone 501c3 non-profit with a full-time director

Established Historic Preservation District and Commission

Created a Heritage Trail to honor historically significant people and buildings

Logged thousands of volunteer hours

Leveraged over $2,500,000 in public and private investments, including $177,000 in infrastructure improvements

Added five new housing units on Main Street

Increased organizational assets by 86%

Leveraged $300,000 in funding to stretch the PreservINg Main Street grant to more property owners

Secured $55,000 in grants to establish a co-working space on Main Street (231 Main)

Rebranded to Historic Downtown Kendallville

Hosted many family-friendly events, attracting thousands of visitors and consumers to downtown

Developed new ways to explore downtown Kendallville and celebrate local history

Welcomed many new businesses to the historic corridor and reduced vacancies
