Since 2021, the city's Main Street organization has:

Been featured on HGTV’s “Hometown”

Partnered with the city on installation of new Pocket Park

Been designated as a PreservINg Main Street Community ($2M grant)

Become a stand-alone 501c3 non-profit with a full-time director

Established Historic Preservation District and Commission

Created a Heritage Trail to honor historically significant people and buildings

Leveraged $300,000 in funding to stretch the PreservINg Main Street grant to more property owners

Secured $55,000 in grants to establish a business incubator in downtown Kendallville (in partnership with the Noble County EDC)

Partnered with Be Noble Inc. (EDC) to attract investors for 2nd floor housing projects

Rebranded to Historic Downtown Kendallville

Logged 0ver 2,300 in volunteer hours

Hosted 10 family-friendly events, attracting thousands of visitors and consumers to downtown

Leveraged $8,500 in funding for new Edison lights recently installed downtown
